Founded by Lord Srathcona in 1911 as London’s first purpose-built hotel, the Bonnington in Bloomsbury is housed in a traditional Edwardian building with a large blue canopy over the entrance. The spacious lobby is attractively appointed in light marble and offers plentiful seating. The 247 medium sized guestrooms are in good condition and are decorated in neutral colour schemes. The hotel’s fully-air conditioned Malt Bar offers the ideal atmosphere in which to unwind after a long day. The bright, airy Waterfalls Restaurant is very popular for both lunch and dinner and serves a variety of modern cuisines.
