Very convenient location. Rooms are a little on the small side but have everything you need. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Top Tip
Avoid room 116. No natural light!

Very helpful and friendly staff, the new reception and bar areas are very smart. However, the restuarant is still under refurbishment so no hot food available at the moment.
Top Tip
The Cosmoba Italian Restuarant is just around the corner and is excellent

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say were really disappointed with the type of accommodation on offer. The hotel is currently going through a major refurbishment, which we hadn't been informed about until I read this on a notice in the hotel's reception. The hotel is really dated and in a poor state. It is definately not what I expected for a 3 star rating. The pages on the internet do not truly reflect the poor state. In our bedroom the bed base was ripped, the bathroom ceiling covered in damp patches, the shower rail full of rust and the wallpaper really dirty. The carpets throughout were old and worn and the windows both in our bedroom and on each level staircase were covered in black damp patches. I complained to justonehotel who kindly found us another hotel. We upgraded to a 4 star, which was wonderful. Thank you to Criag at justonehotel for his professionlism and support in finding us alternative accommodation at such short notice.

The Hotel was in a very good location. We arrived into Kings X and took the Piccadilly line to Russell Sq turned left outside the station then left again at Russell square and about 5 min walk found the hotel on the left. We arrived at 10.30 am and left our bags with the consiege who was a very very friendly helpful man !! He gave us a map of the theatre land and told us how to get to Covent garden (10- 15 min walk). Was very helpful in giving intructions to the Theatre. We had booked for the aldwych theatre ( 15 min walk).
Hotel was clean but felt the rooms could do with a bit of refurbishment. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and plenty of everything available.
Top Tip
At Kings x we purchased a 2 day off peak tube ticket. This enabled us tto get straight on the tube the next day and not have to join the very long queue for tickets.
On the 2nd day we took the tube from Russel sq to Holborn changed to the central line and went to Marble Arch and started shopping in Oxford street !!
On the first night we ate at a little Italian near to the Aldwych (just past the Waldorf Hotel) cost for 3 courses and bottle of rose £60 for 2 not bad for London !!!

About 5 minutes walk from the British Museum. About 10 minutes walk from Euston Station, and with the gardens of Russell Square, Tavistock Square not far away.
There's a bus-stop right outside the hotel's front door, which is very convenient!
